Eligible employees and their dependents may choose to be covered under EES's Policy with Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield. The coverage is provided through a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), and includes vision coverage. Employees who have other health insurance coverage have the option to waive coverage under EES' plan.
DENTAL INSURANCE
Eligible employees and their dependents are eligible for optional coverage under EES's 100% employee-paid dental plan under our health insurance policy through Anthem.
LIFE INSURANCE
Life insurance coverage is provided by at a rate equal to the employee's annual salary and the premium is paid 100% by EES.
SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM DISABILITY INSURANCE
Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insurance, which covers approximately 60% of the employee's salary, is paid 100% by EES.
SECTION 125 CAFETERIA PLAN
EES' Cafeteria Plan offers three elements of salary redirection: redirection of the employee's portion of the premiums for health and dental insurance; redirection of a portion of the employee's pay into a Flexible Spending Account to cover medical, dental and vision expenses not paid by the employee's insurance plan(s); and redirection of a portion of the employee's pay into a Dependent Care account. All payments to the Cafeteria Plan are exempt from Social Security, Medicare, Federal Income, and State Income taxes.
RETIREMENT PLANS
All full-time employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan after one month of employment. A participant may contribute part of his/her pay to the 401(k) Plan, and the Plan has provisions for a company match.
EES also provides a Money Purchase Pension Plan and all contributions to this plan are paid by the company.
VACATION
Full-time employees accrue vacation at a rate of two weeks per year. Vacation accrual is increased to three weeks per year after three years of service, and four weeks per year after five years of service.
HOLIDAYS
Full-time employees of EES CORPORATION are entitled to ten (10) paid holidays per year.
SICK LEAVE
Full-time employees are permitted to take up to 32 hours per year of sick leave.
